  • Buying things.

First off, I really need a camera so I can illustrate what goes on daily more often and have more interesting updates...

So anyways, been doin some reading lately and it has been in my mind for a long time already but I feel I need to highlight this. So for a long time since the days of Napster and Kazaa, Morpheus or whatnot, it has been in everyone's 2nd nature to obtain songs and video's and whatnot including "you know who" *cough cough*. So as an adolescent, my views on this would be people do this because it is a free way to avoid paying for a song and you would save yourself more money. As I like to support the asian community more, as I grew older I would view things as actually supporting the music industry by buying the actual cd or songs instead of finding alternative ways to do so.

The more I go into globalization and studying more into economics and business, it becomes more and more to my attention the actual importance of doing things "the right" way.  Why? Because it spurs growth in our economy and it would support our aspiring asian artists and community to grow by putting money in their pockets.

BUT!... There's a pro to this side. In all forms of piracy and counterfeiting.  It makes innovation and growth in all sorts of ways such as programming, development, app development, skill, audio reproduction, brand awarement,

and so many other more things that I cannot think of at the moment. BUT the point being to put it short, is that it opens a door to so many different advances. Whether it be for the good or the bad. Heck, so many skilled people have come out of the curiosity of just wanting to break the rules or trying to save money. Take a look at the notorious hacking group "Anonymous" for example.

They are filled with many skilled program developers and hackers that exploit many holes and security breaches in many different companies and organizations such as Warner Music Group, and CBS. When they just wiped it clean that one time.

But it comes down to this. Even though it means doing the right thing to pay for things the right way and supporting your fellow community, when it comes down to it,  we're broke as hell unless your already in the working class and making a stable income. What would you do?

    Thoughts and input appreciated.
